Can I Still Have a Chimney Fire?

Even though the weather is warmer outside and you may not be using your chimney as much, it’s still possible to have a chimney fire if your flue is not clean. At Lindemann Chimney Supply we are still cleaning chimneys. In fact, we clean chimneys all year. So if you haven’t had your chimney cleaned in the last 12 months, or even if you had it cleaned last winter it may be time to have us take a look and we will clean it if necessary. The Chimney Safety Institute of America recommends that chimneys be inspected on annual basis and cleaned if necessary. Our Sweeps are all CSIA Certified.

Things can change during the burning season – birds or other animals can start nests, damage can occur and it’s just good sense to make sure the chimney is taken care of.

We will also provide you with a video inspection. Damage can be detected that’s not visible by just looking down the flue. If we suspect any problems that may cause future damage we will give you an estimate to prevent future costly maintenance issues.

To schedule a time for us to take a look either call us at 847-739-4199 or click here to email us.
